Founded in 2021, the Social Innovation and Impact Institute (Si3) is a research and capacity-building center dedicated to developing and implementing innovative solutions to complex societal challenges. Its focus is on socioeconomic, demographic, and geographical issues, particularly in low-income African countries.
 

Si3 is governed by a five-member Board of Directors. Together with the Executive Director (Dr. Tigist Mekonnen Melesse), the five board members below are responsible for overseeing, managing, and promoting the institute’s activities and related initiatives.
